How it works
How to crop a PDF
Trim white margins or uniform borders from every page — free, no signup. Use one margin value on all edges or set custom top, right, bottom, and left millimetre values.
One crop setting shrinks every page to the trimmed size (margins follow the page as displayed, including rotation). Links and form fields stay when possible. The first-page preview shows a trim overlay on your real PDF page; other pages use the same mm margins. Scanned black borders need a large enough margin.

Why browser processing & tips
Why process PDFs in your browser?
Most PDF sites upload your file to a remote server first. That adds wait time, queueing, and means your document passes through infrastructure you do not control. LokaPDF crops PDF margins entirely in your browser — file content is not uploaded to our servers. Per-page different crop sizes are not supported in the web tool. The tool works on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, and Android with no install.
Remove scanner bed borders, tighten slides for print, or clip consistent bleed on forms.
Tips
- Start with small margins — large crops can clip headers and footers; margins that leave too little page (based on your PDF size) are blocked.
- Custom per side helps when only the top scan shadow needs trimming.
- On rotated pages, Top/Left match what you see on screen — not the raw MediaBox edges.
