Acceptance

By accessing or using lokapdf.com and related pages (the "Service"), operated as LokaPDF ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The service

LokaPDF provides browser-based PDF utilities. Files are processed locally on your device. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Service may change, add, or remove tools over time.

Brand and trademarks

LokaPDF, the LokaPDF logo and word mark, the tagline “PDF tools in your browser — files never uploaded,” and the domain lokapdf.com are trademarks and brand assets of the Service. You may not use our name, logo, or confusingly similar branding to imply endorsement, affiliation, or that a third-party product is LokaPDF.

You may not register domains, social handles, app listings, or advertising campaigns that use LokaPDF, lokapdf, or confusing variants (including typosquatting) for a competing PDF tool or to divert traffic from lokapdf.com.

Intellectual property

Except for open-source libraries we redistribute under their own licenses, the Service’s website content, UI design, layout, documentation, guides, FAQs, graphics, and original software (including client-side scripts we author) are protected by copyright and related laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Your documents remain yours. We claim no ownership of the PDF or other files you process locally in your browser.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to process unlawful content or in violation of applicable law;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service or its infrastructure;
• scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site or its assets for the purpose of building a competing product or training models to reproduce LokaPDF;
• copy, mirror, frame, or clone the Service’s distinctive look-and-feel, copy, or tooling for a commercial or public competing PDF website or app;
• reverse engineer our original code primarily to create a substantially similar competing service (except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by law);
• remove or obscure copyright, trademark, or attribution notices from materials we provide.

You are responsible for the files you process and for how you use the output.

Automated access and AI systems

Automated access is allowed only for ordinary search indexing consistent with our robots.txt and applicable law. You may not use bots, scrapers, or AI systems to systematically copy LokaPDF’s content, design, or code to operate a substitute or competing PDF tool site. Requests that identify as AI training crawlers may be limited by our technical controls.

Limited license to use the Service

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as offered on lokapdf.com for lawful PDF tasks. No other license is granted. These Terms do not transfer any ownership in LokaPDF brand assets or our original works.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, LokaPDF and its operators are not liable for data loss, corruption, business interruption, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the tools.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or block access. We may send takedown or cease-and-desist notices to hosts, registrars, app stores, and search engines regarding unauthorized clones, brand misuse, or scraped mirrors. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
